Which type of home is best for me and my family?
This depends upon several factors:

• Your size requirements, ie. how many bedrooms, do you need a single or double story home.

• Your budget for a new home

• Your personal tastes

What is the difference between a HUD and a BOCA Code Home?
The simplest answer is that they are built to meet two different building codes. Third party inspectors examine a home before it leaves a manufactured housing factory and inspects it according to the HUD or BOCA Code.

How long does it take from the time I order a home until I can move in?
Depending on the time of the year and which type of home you order, the process can take from 1 to 4 months on average.

What about financing?
Conventional 25 or 30 year mortgages at today’s low rates are available for modular and manufactured homes. We have lenders ready to help you get into your new home. It has never been easier to own your very own home.

How do banks view modular homes?
Banks, appraisers, and insurance companies treat modular homes the same way they do site-built homes.

Can I save money by building a modular home?
Yes. Construction costs for a modular home are usually less per square foot than for a similar site-built home. Most modular homes are very energy efficient, which helps reduce your heating and cooling costs.

How does a Modular home save time in the construction process?
When the Modular home arrives and is set on the foundation it is usually over 90% complete. The floor coverings, the wall and ceiling finish, outside siding, shutters, kitchen cabinets, sink, refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, etc. are there already. This saves valuable days and weeks. While the home is being built at the factory, the home site construction is being done. After the home is delivered from the factory to the site, the final finishing touches take approximately 3-5 weeks to complete, depending on the style of the home. The finished house is then ready for its family.
